NEWS

2008 has been a very busy year again for the Parc Signs team, now a year on in our new production facility at St Austell Enterprise Park.

The Year kicked off with a very involved project for Cornwall County Council at the old mining site of Wheal Peevor. Following essential renovation works to the original mine building and the introduction of a new trail around the site. Parc Signs created a series of stunning Interpretation signs at the site. See more information on this project in our case study here.

Other big projects this year, has seen various sites re-branded for Happy Days Nursery, including Truro Playbox, Derriford Site and St Eval.

We are currently in final stages of a complete signing project for 3 schools at Whitley in Plymouth, where they are now housed on one campus. The site signage comprised, exterior wayfinding, interior tactile and braille wayfinding and door marking.

2 Projects that really got the team thinking this year were the Cornwall AONB display stand. A portable, sustainable and interactive exhibition unit, with audio visual elements. Also Geevor Tin Mine where we reproduced a scale model of the Cornish coastline with fibre optic illumination and user interactivity. See more about these 2 projects in our case studies.

We have successfully resigned the Liskeard to Looe branch line for Cornwall & Devon Rail Partnership, reproduced in old British Railways Western Region style, featuring masked and sprayed signs, to mimic stove enameled signs of old.

From Ice Rink, to Den building and we got Sexy at the green car show all for Eden Project, it has been another successful year for arguably one of the UK's greatest tourist attractions. We helped re-sign all of their season events and shows.

For Leap Media we produced a series of natural pop up, exhibition stands. Designed to be much more natural looking than many off-the shelf POS stands that can be made. The stand were used by the National Trust to promote their Cornwall Estates.
