When precision meets creativity, magic happens. Our laser cutter and engraver is one of those machines that quietly works away in the workshop, turning flat materials into detailed, complex pieces that simply couldn’t be achieved any other way.
Laser cutting and engraving opens up a world of possibilities for businesses and organisations looking to add that extra touch of quality and detail to their signage and display work. Whether it’s crisp lettering, delicate patterns, or beautifully detailed shapes, our laser delivers.
Our flatbed laser is a workhorse that handles an impressive range of materials and projects. With a generous bed size of 1000mm x 610mm, it can accommodate everything from small, intricate components to larger panels and display pieces. The machine cuts and engraves with exceptional precision on acrylic (up to 15mm thick), MDF, plywood, card, paper, leather, fabric, and various other materials. The CO2 laser system delivers clean, sealed edges on acrylics and smooth, detailed cuts across the board. Perfect for when you need that professional finish.

Why we love our Laser/Engraver:
— Ultra Fine Detail & Intricacy – This is where the laser really shines. The level of detail we can achieve is simply beyond what’s possible with traditional routing tools. We’ve created samples in acrylic that have an almost lace-like effect—delicate, intricate patterns that would be impossible to create any other way. When a project demands precision and detail, the laser is our go-to.
— Perfect Polished Edges on Acrylics – Especially with glass effect acrylic, the laser gives an ultra-polished look that’s absolutely stunning. The edges come out beautifully sealed and glass-like. Previously, we’d have to CNC route and then spend time polishing edges. The laser streamlines this process, saving time while delivering a gorgeous finish.
— Flame Polishing & Engraved Effects on Wood – The laser creates beautiful effects on wood materials. It can create engraved textures, and affects the grain in really interesting ways, bringing out depth and character that adds a whole extra dimension to timber pieces. We can even open up the back of the machine to feed things through larger pieces.
— Razor-Sharp Lettering – When you need cut letters that are crisp and sharp, the laser delivers every time. No fuzzy edges, no imperfections, just clean, professional lettering.
— Speed – Once it’s set up and running, the laser works fast. This is brilliant for turnaround times and keeping projects moving efficiently through the workshop.
— Perfect for Testing & Prototyping – Sometimes it’s super handy to test a design before committing to a full production run. The laser is ideal for quick prototypes and samples, letting us (and our clients) see exactly how something will look before we scale up.
— Cost Savings Through Smart Combinations – We love being able to combine direct printing with laser work. This opens up creative possibilities while keeping costs down for clients, getting the best of both technologies working together. Plus wastage is minimal as the laser can cut even the smallest piece of material, maximising materials.

Why we have it
Honestly? Because some jobs just can’t be done any other way.
There are projects that demand a level of detail, finish, or precision that traditional methods simply can’t deliver. Our laser gives us the capability to take on those jobs and do them brilliantly. It’s opened up new creative possibilities for our clients and allowed us to offer genuinely bespoke solutions. It’s also a practical machine. While it handles intricate, decorative work beautifully, it’s equally brilliant for the everyday essentials. We produce a lot of health & safety signage. Not fancy, but absolutely vital. The laser gives us flexibility to work with so many different materials, colours, and finishes to create exactly what’s needed. From the delicate and decorative to the functional and essential, it covers the full spectrum.
