Fabrication and installation of exhibition displays
Scribble & Nonsense
English Heritage
Museum designers, Scribble & Nonsense contracted us to deliver an exhibition display for Pendennis Castle, an English Heritage property. The solution needed to clearly communicate the exhibition, be in keeping with the building and also work within the guidelines and restrictions dictated by Listed Building status.
The production of a free standing timber framed interpretation system. The system was stained to match items of the period and included fabricated and hammer finish joint knuckles, similar to that of a focal piece in the exhibition.
The whole scheme was commended by English Heritage. The solution provided exactly what they were looking for; a concise, engaging piece of interpretation that sits comfortably within its environment.
“We decided to approach Parc Signs to produce Fortress Falmouth exhibition at Pendennis Castle for us as we wanted a production company who not only had full inhouse manufacturing capabilities, but also had a thorough understanding of exhibition installations in a historic / listed environment. We were very impressed with their technical, production and CAD support throughout the project and will continue to use them for future heritage projects. The quality of their workmanship was fantastic and the feedback we have received about the exhibition most pleasing.”
